Delivery and time commitment
Under England’s NICE guideline CG113 (recommendation 1.3.16), CBT for panic disorder in its Step 3 pathway should, for most people, take the form of weekly sessions of 1 to 2 hours, completed within a maximum of 4 months of starting. These are guideline expectations for adults in that pathway; a local provider’s schedule and an individual’s needs may differ.
